Any kind of a lip make up is considered to be an essential
for the modern woman. If chosen appropriately, it can add an edgy look.
I’ve recently purchased Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayons. As you
I’m sure you realise, there is a battle going on out there!! One of the first
inventors of these speacial lipsticks was Clinique with their chubby stick and then Revlon with their Just
Bitten Kissable Balm Stain. Bourjois didn’t stay behind for too long and Colour
Boost Lip Crayons were born into this world.
I really like Bourjois cosmetics, I find them relatively inexpensive
and I never had a problem with their quality. When I heard they’d released a new
line I just had to go get some. Yeah, let’s talk about easily influenced, right?
I couldn’t decide which colours to get and because I’m really into purple
pinkish lipsticks this summer I went for Red Sunrise. The other blissful colour I took
with me home was Peach on the Beach.

I got my Colour
Boost Lip Crayons from Boots for the price of £7.99. And why did I
enjoy shopping at Boots? There was a special offer, 3 for 2, and what is more,
I got sunglasses and a case for free with my Bourjois purchase! Do days get
much better or WHAT!
Application of Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayons
It was very easy to apply, just like any other lipstick, I
dabbed them a bit more with my finger to make it look more natural. They are quite light coloured hence I had to apply more layers than usuall to achieve desired colour. What I
really like is the glossiness it gives to lips and it doesn’t stick either! The
only thing I’m not too sure about is the fact that it shows all the
imperfections on your lips (at least on mine), which doesn’t happen when I use
my normal lipstick. I personally think this is a result of the fact that texture of these crayons is very thin.
I have to say, this summer is all Chubby Stick intense! Even
though it’s the end of summer (and the sun seems to be gone, again),
it’s never too late to purchase these babies.
I didn’t want to get any more of these Bourjois Lip Crayons
because I thought the colours were quite similar. Hence I decided to try Bourjois Effet 3D Lipgloss, specifically Rouge Democratic 06. I
was overwhelmed by the density of its colour! Seriously, very enriched, strong
shades that I absolutely fell in love with. Regarding application, I would
recommend to be more careful and apply it slowly, especially around the end of
your lips so you don’t exceed your lip line. Maybe you could use a tissue, just
to be on a safe side. Although the final effect is well worth it and I can see
myself buying more shades from this line. The selling price is, again, £7.99 and you will
be rewarded by luxurious look like lips.

Can you see the richness of Bourjois Effet 3D Lipgloss? I’m soo loving it!
