Bourjois Rouge Shine Edition Lipsticks

Bourjois has released new lipstick edition this July.
Although I have come across it just now! It’s been very appropriately labelled Shine Edition Lipstick. I tried it at the shop on my hands and I
was very surprised how lovely and creamy the texture of this Bourjois lipstick actually feels. So I
decided to get some of these pretty babies.

There is 6 shades of Bourjois
Rouge Shine Edition lipsticks
: Soleil t20, Rouge making t21, Famous fuchsia t22, Grenade
t23, Pou pou pidou t24, Mauve tabloid t25

The colours I went for are: Rouge making t21, Grenade t23, Mauve
tabloid t25

Application of Bourjois Rouge Shine Edition:

As I’ve already mentioned, this line of Bourjois Rouge Shine Edition lipsticks feels very creamy, almost like lip
butter type products, just with the addition of amazing colours. The finish is
super glossy but doesn’t stick as some other glossy lipsticks do! That is a
massive plus for me. Other than that I find these lipsticks hydrating, so if
you suffer with dry lips like I do, I would definitely recommend you to invest
in these very clever lipsticks. The consistency is very luscious, melt-away
like and it stays on for quite some time (as long as you don’t eat).

This shine edition is enriched with mango butter extracts
and the ultra shine effect is due to 1/4 gloss extract. The package is quite
unusual I have to say. It definitely goes with the name. Very shiny 🙂 I could
see myself in their bottle while I was taking a picture! (lol)

The pigment is nice and strong which means you don’t have to
do too many “sweeps”. I got my Bourjois Rouge Shine
Edition
from Boots where I purchased them as a special offer 3 for 2. The retail
price is £7.99 a pop, combined with the special offer I could get three at a
bargain price!

I can see myself applying Rouge making t21 while going out
wearing more happy/bright. Grenade t23, Mauve tabloid t25 are ideal colours for
me to wear in the rainy autumn weather. They are definitely one of those shades
that fits perfect with the fall mood when the colours outside are so varied!

Which one do you like?

Oh, they really are shiny. For some reason, I expected to see some sort of indication of how shiny they were from the tube. I guess you really have to try them directly on your skin to see the real shine. I don't really like any of those colors for my skin tone.
