Review: Magnitone Pulsar Facial & Body Daily Cleansing Brush

Is there a product that you wanted so much, but couldn’t afford it and then it just magically lands on your doorstep?! Yep, this just happened to me! So I’m considering myself very lucky right now. I got the opportunity to review the Magnitone Pulsar Facial & Body Daily Cleansing Brush and now I would like to share my thoughts with you.

I took part in the 7 day challenge to achieve Softer, Smoother, Clearer Skin for 2014. I had to use this product twice a day, for about a minute each time, for 7 days straight. I’m a big fan of a regular skincare routine and as someone who suffers with problematic skin, I believe it’s a must. Sometimes products can come with a hefty price tag, nevertheless, you pay for what you get – and in this case the return is double.

Exfoliating is extremely important. Now I ask you, do you use day creams, night creams and all those hydrating creams? Do you expect them to work? Daahhh! Well, now…how can you expect them to work over the builded masses of dead cell that we all have (weather we like it or not). Until now I’ve been using Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream Rinse-Off Formula that I consider the queen among facial scrubs. Also bath gloves have proved to be quite useful. So as you can tell, I take my skin care quite seriously.

Cleansing brushes have become extremely popular recently and for good reason, as I’ll now share with you. So sit back and enjoy!

What Magnitone says about this product:

Magnitone pulsar is a daily skin cleansing and toning system that is designed for face and body as well. It promises improved blood circulation, to soften, smooth and clear skin. It also promises less breakouts and a tighter and more even skin texture, resulting in a reduction of visible pores.

Magnitone Pulsar retails at the price of around £129.99 and comes with two replacement brush heads; one Active Clean brush head for use on the
face, and one Body Cleanse brush head for use on the body. Both brush heads have protective covers.

Quotes from the Magnotine website:

– More effective deep cleansing and removal of impurities***
– Can help increase collagen in skin**
– Softer, smoother and clearer looking skin tone*
– Firmer, tighter feeling skin texture*
– Can help diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles*
– Noticeable increase in blood circulation to the skin*
– Helps reduce appearance of visible pores*
– Gentle exfoliation of dry skin for silkier arms and legs
– Helps reduce razor rash and irritation after hair removal*
– Enhanced moisture and nutrient absorption of your regular skin products (SPF, self-
tan, moisturisers)

What do I think?

Getting to know the product is extremely easy. After charging the battery for 24 hours (arm yourself with patience) you’re ready to go. I was hopping like a bunny, I just couldn’t wait to try it!

There are 4 different settings:
Deep clean: – aka the normal setting, Face Cleanse Brush twice a day, morning & evening, for 1 minute only. It’s supposed to reduce the appearance of enlarged pores and wrinkles.

Exfoliate: for dry and dead skin cells, to use on all your body, with the help of Body Cleanse Brush. I’ve used this setting on my elbows and knees. Now, I don’t particularly suffer with dry skin on these places, but it works wonders. I noticed straight away after first use how soft my skin was, just when I thought it couldn’t get any better.

Sensitive: the name speaks for itself, if you suffer with sensitive, damaged or irritated skin, this is the right setting for you!

PulseLift Massage: the fastest setting that properly stimulates the skin while improving the blood circulation. This is the one you want to use every day for those areas that need ageing protection!

Which settings were my favourite ones I hear you ask? I would have to say Exfoliate for dry patches and the PulseLift Massage, as I could really feel it working its magic on my face and neck area.

Regarding reducing visible pores: I believe I’m on a good route to slowly get rid of them, I shall update the post after 3 weeks.

is to be used on the whole body, but to be honest with you, I only used it
on my problematic areas – face & neck and dry areas – elbows &
knees. To use it on my whole body I would have to spend in the bath hours, as the cleaning heads are just too
small,. I would love to see
bigger heads.

On my seventh day of the challenge I found my skin was quite different. I’m not going to lie to you girls when I say I noticed the first changes on day four, i mean it. Especially the ones on my face and neck area. It WAS firmer and tighter, as promised by Magnitone, skin feels very soft…it’s nice to a touch, it feels somehow boosted, if you know what I mean?

Difference between facial scrubs & Magnitone Pulsar

As I’ve mentioned above I’ve been using facial scrubs very regularly. If you have the right facial scrub, it does a perfectly fine job removing dead cells and skin is nice to touch and feels softer. Now the difference between those two products is, that cleansing brushes work magic by increasing blood circulation and for me this is THE THING that sold it to me. Skin not only feels soft to touch BUT it also feels very different, more alive, can I say that? Plumped up, firmer. As I’ve been reading about Magnitone, I found out that it helps to increase collagen in the skin and I suppose that’s why my skin feels different.

All in all, I was very happy with the results and Magnitone Pulsar has become an important part of my everyday routine. Have any of you ever tried it? What did you think?

Hi Corriane! No, I actually don't have any before and after…I think one week is too early too see massive changes but they were there! Also I'm starting to notice (2nd week now) that while using both, Magnitone and my anti wrinkle cream, I have hardly any lines on my forehead!

I can't wait to read your review and read all about your experience!
