Autumn is here in full swing ladies! Temperatures are dipping as autumn makes its presence felt. It’s time to get cosy, drink cup after cup of hot chocolate with mountains of cream on top of it! I’ve grown to like this time of the year. I’m quite a fond book reader, I love to get cosy on a sofa, turn the lights off and leave only a little lamp on next to me, snuggel up in a warm blanket and drink steaming hot tea while getting my teeth into an interesting story.
I was inspired by lovely autumn walks while creating this autumn winter fashion collage. The ones where you walk around a park, forest or even a lake. For us fashionistas, autumn represents the perfect chance to slip into comfortable and cute knitwear while discovering the joys of a new season of clothes and accessories. I can never get enough of layering during this season. Mixing stylish blouses with lovely collars, cute knitwear, denim, leather boots and cosy scarves is my kind of a thing…my fashion heaven during the cold seasons. I call this look “country chic” and it is definitely my winning combo for every autumn winter season. The perfect weekend outwear for every girl about town.
To celebrate the autumn/winter fashion season, I’ve decided to award one lucky winner with a £50 voucher for Bonmarché, a UK womenswear retailer. They also have the privilege to have David Emanuel on board designing exclusively for Bonmarché. For those of you who are a bit younger, David Emanuel is the guy who designed Princess Diana’s wedding dress! Have a look at his collection at Bonmarché’s website, it’s full of elegant and stylish pieces, from dazzling dresses to classy separates. I’m sure you’ll find something your heart will settle on.
