Hey guys, if you’re reading my blog every now and then, you would know I’m getting married this summer and as every bride, I do want to look perfect on that big day. Nevertheless, the wedding day is not the only day I long to look good. Everywhere I look, everyone I talk to, they all worry about the big day but not many people mention the honeymoon. As I’m going straight after my wedding, I also worry what I’m going to look like in swimwear and how to get that honeymoon body! I would love to have beautiful pictures from this once-in-a-lifetime occasion and therefore I feel it’s time to reconsider my lifestyle.
Before I continue, let me get one thing straight, I’m against strict dieting and I’m not going to promote it on my blog. But what I would like to talk to you about is being healthy, eating well and thinking positive. When you have that in your mind, you can achieve anything. I’ve been very healthy for the last few months, eating plenty of vegetable and fruit, swapped snacks for nuts and I’ve already managed to lose a few pounds.
Eating healthy is only one step to looking great. Exercise is a MUST in order to achieve a healthy body and we should all find an exercise that suits us best. Exercising has to make us happy, something we are looking forward to, not something we are dreading! I’m not a massive gym fan but I love jogging. Once the weather gets warmer, I’m hoping to get outside and run around the local parks! But until then, there are few tips and tricks I’d love to share with you on how I help myself to achieve the honeymoon body!
1) I’ve always been a fan of Nivea products, they are the perfect match for my skin and good quality. I’ve recently discovered these three products (Firming Body Oil, Goodbye Cellulite Gel-Cream and Goodbye Cellulite Serum) and since Boots had their famous 3 for the price of 2 offer on, I decided to splurge on myself and got them all. I’ve been using them for three weeks now, religiously every morning and night and I’m proud to report they do seem to work! My skin is incredibly smooth and feels tighter! I think it’s too early to say I can see any reduction in cellulite, but I think it did improve. I really do hope its just not me hopelessly praying for a change.
2) As I’m hoping not to wear make up full time during my honeymoon, it’s very important my skin is flawless. I’ve been eating a lot of healthy food (such as plenty of veg and fish) to make sure my skin is perfect but since I’m prone to skin problems, I decided to take it to the next level (CAN I SAY THAT?) and bought Perfectil plus SKIN. They are full of Biotin, zinc, and selenium to help maintain normal skin, hair and nails. I’ve also been using these for three weeks now and my skin is a lot clearer, so I’ll definitely buy a new pack and continue taking these.
3) The third product that I’ve decided to try is Natures Plus ACAI Extended Release. I discovered this one by Natures Plus and as it was for a decent price, I thought why not? I’ve always been very keen to try Acai berries due to its high content of antioxidants – the perfect radical defence! There is no science that antioxidants helps to lose weight never the less they do have qualities that promote weight loss. They also protect the body from cellular damage and help you stay younger.
4) And my personal favourite product since the age of 16, green tea! Green tea has many benefits such as boost weight loss, reduce cholesterol and combat cardiovascular disease. Plus it tastes amazing! If you follow my Instagram, you would know I’m obsessed with my weekend tea breaks and my tea cups and mugs of different sizes and colours. Looking great doesn’t always mean WHAT. You have to feel good within to look good on the outside. That’s why I’ve started my “Project Me Time”
where I talk about the importance of finding time for yourself. I love
my moments if quiet where I can just sip on my green tea and contemplate
my next plans.
What are your beauty/healthy products that you can swear by? I’m opened to recommendations on products and exercises that will help me to get that honeymoon body and feel good!
P.S. I’m no nutritionist or doctor. Always read a label of any product you want to take or advise with your doctor.
