Outfit Post: Summer Stroll in the Rain

Hello lovelies! Hope you’re doing your best to make the most of the weather we are having. I know, it’s not sunny and it’s barely warm, but what can we do? I decided not to dwell on the fact the weather behaves as it pleases to and go for a pre-lunch stroll. Unsurprisingly it rained all the way through but never mind, I had my fedora hat to protect me from the rain, stylish and practical, don’t you think?!
Before I get full on, I have to apologise for the picture quality. It turned out, rain is not only the enemy of our hairstyles but also it has a massive impact on a picture quality. It took me ages to edit them in Photoshop! I might have to blame this jacket, last time I was snapping blog pictures in this one, it also rained, check out Dreaming of a Summer on a Rainy Day post!

For the pre-lunch stroll in a park  I decided to go with my white classic cut summer H&M blazer to keep me warm. The whole outfit was meant to be leisure. I also wanted to keep the colours bright as it’s summer after all. To finished the whole look I opted  for my MAC Ruby Woo lipstick and I’m mesmerised how it actually compliments colours on the Zara top. Also, may I point out how refined the top’s cut is? The layers perfectly link to each other.

I threw on these Ese shoes I got the other week from TK Max. I tend to wear them to the office as they are such a classy elegant wonder piece but this time I went for a more rocky chic look and voilaa…I dare to say it worked!

We also stopped in our local coffee shop that doubles up as a charity shop! What a wonderful idea, don’t you think? For someone who loves discovering unique statement pieces for the home and loves a good cup of coffee, this is an ideal place.

I hope the weather gets better soon as I have plenty of summer outfits that I would love to share with you. But for now why don’t you browse my last years holiday outfit posts? Let me know what you do when it rains, Do you brave it and go out?

Yours truly,

I can't believe you got that blazer from h and m! It looks gorgeous 😀 I love this outfit. I also love the sound of that coffee shop… Definitely the kind of place I'd love to visit.

Thank you Sarah, I was pretty chuffed when I got the blazer as the price wasn't too bad either! It's a last season but I've seen it the other day, still selling and not on sale. Must be confident in this product then 🙂
