Ever since I started blogging, I’ve been to many wonderful events and I’ve met so many wonderful bloggers and PR personas. Nevertheless, I have to say Laredoute did us proud.
The whole event was co-organised by another blogger, Laura from A Forte For Fashion – who is the PR & Social Manager at La Redoute, and she knows how to treat us. Being a blogger herself, she knows how much hard work we put into bloging, trying to have the best pictures and best post, and she appreciates how much time we put into it. Hence she and LaRedoute created the best bloggers party I’ve been to.
I only get a few hundred visits a day so I don’t compare myself to likes of Tanya Burr or Zoella but I do put into blogging a lot of my time and hard work. You can read all about my blogging day over here.
LaRdoute has worked with some of the biggest names in fashion from Karl Lagerfeld, Jean-Paul Gaultier to Naomi Campbell. The pieces are timeless and very stylish, recreating effortless french style. Since the event I have had a browse on their website quite a few times and there are some very stylish party dresses I’m considering to get for a New Years Eve party or just nights out generally.
They stock some of the nicest high quality fashion pieces and we even got the opportunity to try them on ourselves. Their party collection was bang on trend and yet elegant, anyone could find their style. My favorite pieces were a leather dress, a snake print dress (as per pic below) and also a dress on a manequin.
I also met a fellow expat blogger, originally from Germany.
LaRedoute took pictures of each blogger trying their samples of clothes
on, but were both unlucky as they didn’t have anything in our
sizes so at least we had pictures taken in our own clothes.
It was the last bloggers event of 2015 that I’ve attended and it was bloody good. Thank you all at Laredoute for organising such an amazing event and for thinking of us, Northern bloggers. I know a lot of hard work went into it but it was worth it.
