Life: The Power of Fresh Flowers

Life: The Power of Fresh Flowers

It’s a beautiful Sunday morning and I’m sitting at my dining table enjoying the last quiet moments before…well, before the day starts. Scent of my new flowers is playfully tickling my nose whilst I’m sipping on my Jasmine green tea. I should be reading a magazine I bought the other day, instead I’m lost in my own world, quietly watching rain drops glimmering through the window and
quietly dancing on the glass. Somehow I’m overwhelmingly grateful for
their dance performance.

I really do know how to dream of my perfect mornings (post alert) and how to make them reality, don’t I?! I’m a dreamer.

Life: The Power of Fresh Flowers

Sometimes, just sometimes, I feel like I’m missing something. I’m not sure what but I’m hoping it will knock on the door any minute and will make me really happy. Silly right. But then, somewhere from the distance, I hear my husband talking to me and when I look up, I see him, his big eyes and warm smile and in that moment I know it doesn’t matter how big your house is, how many trendy clothes you have and how much money you have in your bank account. What matters is to realise and appreciate what you have and what makes you happy (post alert: How to shut that inner-self-bitch and be the boss girl). I still have to learn to take live as it is but I know that I have to fight and work hard for my own happiness. No one else will.

Sadly I don’t tend to grasp this feeling most of the time – I believe I still have to learn to appreciate life in all its beaming colours. There is always something that I’m after and all of a sudden I can find myself rushing from place to place most of the time without enjoying those little moments in life.

Thankfully there are mornings like this one, where I get to treasure my 5 minutes of peace – and enjoy simple pleasures of life.

Life: The Power of Fresh Flowers

One of those joys of my life are flowers. Looking at them fills me with happiness, joy and most importantly content. You may have already noticed, I love talking flowers on my blog and they have also become a regular entrant on my Instagram. Yes, I also enjoy photographing them.

Nature, all things considered, is what I like to see, what I like to shoot.

That’s why there is always a vase filled with these blooming treasures in my house. I adore flowers and plants and I have this unspecified need to constantly buy more and more for my home.

And why the hell NOT?

This lavish bouquet ofย  Cinder Rose (from Blossoming Gifts)ย  transformed my dining room into a fresh blooming paradise, and thanks to them I’ve got one step closer towards the perfect home cosiness. It also reminds me of my wedding bouquet a bit (post alert), I think that’s why I’ve picked it.

If you know of someone who celebrates a special occasion or if you know someone who needs a bit of pick up – why don’t you send them a fresh flower arrangement to lift their spirits and improve their mental health.

What a lovely post! I know what you mean with that strange ungrateful feeling – I've been reading it a lot about mindfulness (it's a topic that goes hand in hand with yoga) and it's so difficult to be mindful sometimes – especially when everyone's being annoying and you just want to get on with your day but really you're meant to be grateful that you're having a better day than people in the third world countries.

The flowers are beautiful though! I LOVE Blossoming Gifts!! <3 x

I probably should read a little bit more about this topic as I'm sure the only one standing in my way of achieving what I want is my own head ๐Ÿ˜‰ But certainly I try to appreciate my life a lot more nowadays.
P.S. those flowers are gorgeous indeed ๐Ÿ™‚
